Saeeid Dastmalchian was born in Tehran/Iran in 1970 and has been living in Germany since 1983. In 1998, he visited his native country for the first time after 15 years. In the course of the following years, he travelled to the country several times, visiting, among other places, Teheran, Kerman, Mashad, Shomal and Shiraz.
